Actress Maui Taylor shared her complicated situation after ending her relationship with her former husband Anton Sabarre.
It can be remembered that during a media con on January 24, Taylor revealed that she was already separated from Sabarre. However, netizens were surprised that the actress still decided to live in the same house with her former husband.
“Hindi na kami nag-uusap. We’re co-parenting. We’re in one house but I sleep in a different room. Matagal nang ganoon ang set-up. Walang pakialaman. No questions asked,” Taylor said.
She then revealed the reason for her decision during an interview with Boy Abunda.
According to her, she doesn’t want her children to live separately, so she chose to make a sacrifice by living with her ex.
“Ayokong dumating sa point na paghihiwalayin ko ‘yung dalawang bata. Because nagtatanong ako eh sa panganay. ‘Mommy is gonna buy a new house. Are you gonna come with me?’ ‘Oh yes mommy I’m gonna go with you.’ Kumbaga si panganay, sasama at sasama talaga sa akin. ‘Yung bunso, wala, sa daddy niya,” she said.
Taylor shared that she told her former husband not to bring any of their new partners into their house to prevent any confusion among their children.
“Sabi ko bawal magpakilala. Huwag muna, kasi mako-confuse ‘yung kids. We participated as mom and dad.” she said.
She also said that she’s already tired of arguing with her former partner.
“Talagang sobrang lalim na ng hole na ‘yun na away-bati, away-bati. Dumating na kami sa point na, ‘Huwag na tayong mag-away.’ Pagod na kami, tama na ito,” she stated.
The actress also admitted that there’s no chance for her to reconcile with Sabarre.
