Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin defended talent manager Ogie Diaz after Liza Soberano made a statement against the latter.
It can be remembered that Liza, in an interview with Boy Abunda, said that she was wondering why Ogie was trying to ruin her reputation.
She also revealed that she was only getting around 30% of her talent fee because of commissions from her managers, which included Ogie.
However, Cristy said that she didn’t hear any statements from Ogie that might give a bad reputation to Liza.
Cristy even said that Ogie talked to her and asked her to stop criticizing Liza.
On February 27, Cristy called Liza ‘ungrateful’ and even said that she only proved that she’s not a Filipino because of her treatment towards Ogie.
Mahal pa rin niya,” she stated.
She also asked Liza why she didn’t talk to Ogie privately before releasing a statement on social media.
Cristy also didn’t expect that there’s going to be an issue between the two especially that they’re known for their good relationship in the past.
