A taxi driver couldn’t hide his happiness after receiving a reward from Vice Ganda after becoming their personal driver during the comedian’s trip to Sagada as part of his ‘Gandara the Beksplorer’ online show.
It can be recalled that Vice met Gab during his search for a taxi driver that could transport them to Sagada which was estimated 6 hours away from Baguio.
Gab didn’t expect that the popular comedian would ask him to become their personal driver during their whole trip and even his wife didn’t know that Vice would hire him.
The taxi driver also shared with Vice that his son was sick and his wife didn’t know that he was going to Sagada.
“Wala po akong naiwan sa kanilang pera po ‘non eh, kaya ang sinabi ko po ay makihiram muna sa mga kamag-anak namin don,” Gab said.
The taxi driver said that he was already happy that he became a driver of the popular comedian.
“Malaking bagay po sa buhay ko na napag-drive ko kayo, achievement ko po ‘yun,” the taxi driver said.
After being informed about the story of their taxi driver, Vice decided to help Gab by giving him P35,000 instead of paying the standard fare of P3,500 after they arrived in Baguio City.
Vice also thanked Gab for safely transporting them back to Baguio City.
Gab couldn’t hide his happiness after being surprised by the comedian.
“Malaking malaking bagay po ito para sa anak ko,” the taxi driver said.
After showing the clip, Vice then told his colleagues that their blessing was a big blessing for them.
