Claudine Barretto disclosed the only time that late actress Jaclyn Jose became so angry at her.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Claudine said that she made an action, which prompted Jaclyn not to talk to her for two months.
Claudine was referring to the controversial commotion involving her and Marjorie Barretto during the wake of her father.
“May instance na nagalit sa akin yan, mga dalawang buwan akong di kinausap. Pag nagalit sa akin takot na takot talaga ako,” she said.
“Sabi niya sa akin, ‘bastos ka.’ Nung namatay daddy ko tapos nagkaaway-away, sabi niya ‘bastos ka, hindi mo na nirerespeto daddy mo.’ Sabi niya, ‘wala akong pakialam sa mga kapatid mo dahil di kami close, pero ikaw anak kita, bakit mo pinayagan, bakit mo ginawa yan?'” she added.
According to her, she absorbed all the nagging she received from Jaclyn, saying that she respected the late actress’ advice to her.
It can be recalled that Claudine considered Jaclyn as her mother figure and even visited the late actress when she experienced problems.
Jaclyn passed away on March 2, which many described as ‘untimely’ as she was still active in showbiz during the time of her passing.
