One of the members of ‘Softdrinks Beauty,’ Coca Nicolas, spoke about the biggest issue faced by her late colleague, Pepsi Paloma.
It can be recalled that Pepsi was involved in one of the biggest issues of the 1980s when she accused Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Richie D’Horsie of abducting her.
Three years after she revealed the accusations, she was found lifeless in her apartment.
Until today, many netizens were still convinced that the accusations made by Pepsi were possibly real, which resulted in Vic and Joey becoming a meme.
However, according to Coca, she personally asked Pepsi during that time if her accusations were legitimate.
“Totoo ba yung sa inyo ni Tito, Vic, and Joey?” Coca said.
“Hindi ah! Alam mo naman si Tito Rey… Parang hindi ka naman naano diyan kay Tito. Lahat gagawin niya para sumikat tayo,” she added while trying to narrate what exactly Pepsi told her.
Tito Rey was their talent manager, Rey dela Cruz, who was also a controversial figure during that time.
Coca said that she would attest that there was no truth to the fact that Pepsi was treated badly by the comedians.
“Kaya yun po talaga. Ako mismo ang magpu-prove niyan na hindi totoo po yon,” she stated.
