Alden Richard clarified that there was no truth about the rumors that he was married to his former love team, Maine Mendoza.
It can be recalled that there was a bizarre phenomenon surrounding the remaining followers of Alden and Maine’s love team, ‘AlDub,’ which showed some fans insisted that the two celebrities had a real relationship, tied the knot, and even had children.
In an interview with Toni Gonzaga, Alden was presented with tweets from several fans who wrote conspiracy theories about AlDub.
One of the netizens, Mila Cambal, insisted that Alden was married to Maine and had three children.
Mila also blamed Eat Bulaga management for allegedly conspiring to detach Alden and Maine by convincing the public AlDub was over by letting the actress’ ‘clone’ marry Arjo Atayde.
Alden said that the theories were not real. However, he said he would not prevent them from posting if it was their way of making themselves happy.
“Andiyan pa rin po. I already said my piece about this. It’s not true. Wala pong katotohanan lahat. Wala po kaming anak. We never got married. But right now po, I’m at the point na masaya sila du’n, e,” said Alden.
“Tatanggalin ko pa ba? Ira-rub ko pa ba sa mga buhay nila na ‘wala nga, huwag kayong makulit.’ I’m not that kind of person. I always support happiness of people,” he added.
Meanwhile, Mila reacted to the interview, saying that she would show ‘receipts’ to prove her claims.
“I will be coming out with resibos why ADN believes that RICHARD FAULKERSON JR & NICOMAINE DEI MENDOZA are the real MARRIED COUPLE…at may mga anak,” said Mila.
