A man was put under the custody of the authorities after he made a bizarre act inside a hospital in Davao de Oro.
According to the report of Sky Teleradyo M’lang, the said 19-year-old man, who’s now being called ‘boy Dextrose,’ entered the Miguel O. Cabrera Sr. Memorial Hospital Corporation (MCMHC) on December 5, 2023, and entered the ward to control the dextrose bag of some of the patients.
The hospital management stated that the man intentionally controlled the dextrose bags to make it a fast drip, which might be deleterious to the patients.
The patients quickly alerted the hospital staff and quickly held the man who attempted to flee the establishment while waiting for the authorities to arrive.
MCMHC has already added additional security measures and also imposed a stricter visiting policy to prevent another incident from happening.
It’s not yet known why the man suddenly performed the act.
The hospital planned to file charges against the man for what he did to their patients.
