Maegan Aguilar narrated how she finally reunited with her father, legendary OPM artist Freddie Aguilar, after several years of not talking with each other.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Maegan said she created several ways to reconnect with her father, including talking to one of her daughters, who was living with Freddie.

“My daughter na nakatira sa kanya. Since naka-block ako, syempre naka-block ako kay tatay ‘di ba?

Maegan couldn’t express how happy she was when her father suddenly agreed with her request.

“Mommy pwede daw pero overnight lang daw…” her daughter told her.

During the meeting, she even joked to her father who’s now looking younger than her.

“‘Tay ang daya mo. Ang bata-bata ng itsura mo, ako mukhang lola,” she said.

Meanwhile, Maegan also shared her thoughts about life during the said interview.

Ang magdadali sa’yo sa langit is yung “You are humbled in his feet” na alam mo na wala ka, you are nothing without HIM so now that’s what I believe na “Lord, hindi ko ‘to kaya if I’m alone kasi wala ako eh if wala ka,” she said.

It can be recalled that Maegan separated from her father in 2019, allegedly due to her vices.

Maegan even went viral on social media after she brought up her issues with her father on Wanted Sa Radyo.

However, Freddie insisted that he was the only one who would decide if Maegan already changed.

With what you’re doing now, hindi ka pa rin nagbabago,” Freddie said in a past interview.
