Show ni Willie Revillame sa PTV at IBC, hindi na umano matutuloy: “Maraming demand itong si Willie”

Willie Revillame’s show on PTV-4 and IBC 13 was reportedly being postponed indefinitely after reports that the television host was facing issues during his talks with the government-owned channels.

Cristy Fermin disclosed the information on her show ‘Cristy Ferminute,’ where she claimed that Willie’s show was not pushing through anymore due to the host’s demands.

According to Fermin, Willie was used to asking demands like what he did during his negotiations with ABS-CBN, TV5, and GMA.

However, unlike privately owned networks, Willie’s situation was different now as government-owned channels had processes to follow.

“May mga kumakalat kasi na maraming demand itong si Willie. Kasi noong nasa ABS siya tapos dito sa TV5, GMA… talagang nasunod ang kaniyang gusto,” Cristy said.

It can be recalled that several lawmakers questioned the decision of PTV and IBC to hire Willie as their host.

IBC 13 President and CEO Jose C. Policarpio, Jr. explained that they wanted Willie to be part of their channel so they could easily reach the ‘lowest of the lowest among the people.’

Reports also indicated that Willie was not set to receive any salary from the government.

Even the sponsors would be handled by Willie as the PTV and IBC were under the Commission on Audit.
