Pilar Mateo, the ex-publicist of Francis Magalona, denied the claims made by former showbiz personality Robby Tarroza that the master rapper’s relationship with Pia Magalona was devastating.
It can be recalled that Robby claimed that Francis shared his complaints to him, saying that the latter was regretful of his relationship with Pia.
“Francis then told me he was done with Pia and left her. he told me he couldn’t take it anymore. All the fights and bugbugan nila. Yung ugali daw ni pia nakakasira ng utak. He said he now has peace,” said Robby.
“He mentioned he was with another woman who is totally the opposite sa ugali ni pia. he stressed “ang sarap pala ng ganitong ‘real love’ Robski” yeah he called me Robski lol pang ganster ko yun,” he said.
However, Pilar said that Robby definitely was sharing a false story and insisted that while Francis and Pia were not a perfect couple, they were happy with each other.
“Masaya sila, may away-away din. Wala pa sa Eat Bulaga that time si FM (Francis Magalona). But I could say happy family. Sa pagkakilala ko kay Pia, she will not talk anymore. Nor stoop down sa ganitong sitwasyon,” said Pilar.
“Actually, alam ko lumabas na ‘yan dati pa. She kept mum at ‘di na nag-react. Kung meron pala iba pang family after several years na nagsama sila, then live and let live,” she added.
Pilar also confirmed that Pia already had children before she had a relationship with Francis, and the master rapper loved them like his own.
“Sa dalas ko sa bahay nila that time, I saw a very happy and loving couple. Pia as the one managing FM’s career was very hands on talaga pagdating sa trabaho ni Francis.
“On the homefront, both were doting parents to the kids. Very loving sa mga anak nila. Lalo na si FM na very close sa mga bata. The kids then were Pia’s Unna Sarah and Nicolo and then sina Maxene, Saab and the baby bunso pa then was Elmo,” she added.
Robby mentioned Unna Sarah and Nicolo as the children of Pia to her first partner.
