Netizens couldn’t hide their suspicions about the real intention of former flight attendant Abegail Rait to sell the jersey of her alleged former partner Francis Magalona and to reveal her controversial story to the public.
It can be recalled that Abegail sold Francis’ signed jersey for P500,000 on ‘Pinoy Pawnstars’ and shared the story of her alleged relationship with the former Eat Bulaga host, which resulted in one child.
However, Abegail started to be questioned by netizens after it was revealed that she was running for this year’s Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.
On social media, several netizens criticized Abegail for allegedly using her story to gain the country’s attention and win votes.
“You know whats sad dun sa issue ni francis m pia and abegail? Pia kept everything a secret to protect her family pero dahil sa pagiging GANID, GAHAMAN ni Abegail Rait at dahil sa gusto nyang manalo na kagawad ginawa nya talaga na kahit kapalit dignidad nya kahit na insultuhin sya ng mga tao at mapahiya ang sarili nyang anak na babae,” netizen Pathead04 wrote.
“She did not think about her daughter’s protection. Di man lang nya inuna yun plus the fact that di magamit ng bata ang magalona na last name like srlsy?? Di man naging maganda relation nila Pia and Francis M noon but sino ang family na nakabroadcast sa Media?” she added.
“Kumakandidato pala. Hindi mo tuloy maiwasang isipin na ang paglantad sa public ay forda clout ang ferson,” netizen @simplyclinton commented.
Some even asked Abegail if she would use the money she gained from selling Francis’ jersey for her campaign funds.
As of writing, Abegail has yet to give any statement on the issue.
