Actor Coco Martin apologized to the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) after an official accused the agency, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, of portraying the agency badly.

Coco and his fellow actor and ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes personally visited BuCor Director General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr. to clarify that they’re not planning to taint the image of the agency.

Catapang then said he was looking forward to how the show’s villains would face their end.

“I look forward to seeing those characters who are playing villains in your series will be exposed and persecuted or redeem themselves to show to the public that crime does not pay and the long arm of the law will catch up for those who disregarded it,” the official said.

The official also granted the request for Coco to use the facilities of BuCor until December to make a story that would help to boost the image of the agency.
