Kamikazee Vocalist Jay Contreras may mensahe matapos maiulat na mapalayas sa Sorsogon

Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras made a cryptic message amid the reports that they were ousted from Sorsogon by Governor Boboy Hamor.

It can be recalled that the band members Contreras, Jomal Linao, Led Tuyay, Puto Astete, Bords Burdeos, Jian Lubiano, and Mikki Jill were spotted at the airport.

They spent their night at the airport after being reportedly told by Hamor that they wouldn’t continue with their show on September 30 as part of the Kasanggayahan Festival celebration.

Hamor told the audience they canceled the show, saying he would not allow Kamikazee to disrespect his people.

However, he clarified that he still paid the talent fee of the band.

“Maraming banda, maraming banda na gustong magpasaya sa atin. Pero kung ganun naman yung ugali, pasensiyahan tayo. Okay? Inuulit ko, bayad yun. Kasi bago mag-perform sila dapat bayad. Pero pinauwi ko na, hindi ko na patitirahin yun sa Residencia. Pinauwi ko na sa airport, dun sila mag-umaga. Okay?”  the official said.

Meanwhile, Jay made a short message to his post, which features a double exposure self-portrait

“I choose love,” said Contreras.

As of writing, Contreras has yet to narrate why the show was suddenly canceled.

Meanwhile, Kamikazee fans criticized the government for being too harsh with the band.
