A suspected government employee went viral on social media after he was involved in a road rage with a cyclist on August 8, 2023, along Welcome Rotonda in Quezon City.
In the said video, the suspect was seen overtaking the cyclist, which resulted in a minor clash.
The suspect who was holding a loaded weapon then left his car and approached the visibly frightened unarmed cyclist.
Atty. Raymond Fortun, who volunteered to represent the cyclist posted a photo of the incident, saying that the suspect was possibly working for the government because of the label pin on his clothes.
After his post went viral, Fortun claimed that he already identified the person who owned the vehicle being driven by the suspect.
Meanwhile, Quezon City Police urged the suspect to surrender to them.
As of writing the suspect has yet to give any statement on the issue.
