Veteran journalist Jay Sonza made his first post since his social media break on June 5.
In his Facebook post, Sonza who had just recently been released behind bars thanked the Lord for the opportunity to experience freedom again.
“Hagbay na jud nga wa nako makita ang bidlisiw sa sayong kabuntagon.
Salamat Guinoo sa higayon!” said Sonza.

It can be remembered that Sonza was put under the custody of NBI on August 3 after he attempted to leave the country.
Authorities discovered that the veteran journalist was facing serious non-bailable charges that could put him behind bars for years.
However, the court allowed Sonza to gain his freedom after the people who filed a complaint against the journalist didn’t appear in hearings.
Hundreds of Sonza’s fans couldn’t contain their happiness after seeing the journalist’s social media post.
“Welcome back Manong Jay. Baligtad ang panahon yung mga masasama hinahayaan, pinaaaral pa ang iba yung mga mabubuting tao sinisikil,” netizen Roy said.
“Kapuri puri ka sir Jay sa pag bibigay ng panandaliang kasiyahan sa mga hindi mo kapanalig sa paninindigan at paniniwala,” netizen Orland commented.
As of writing, Sonza has yet to give any comment on the charges he filed against him.
