Aljur Abrenica received criticism on social media after some netizens noticed his absence during the sixth birthday of his son Alas last August 4.
Some netizens expressed their disappointment through the comment section of Aljur’s ex-partner, Kylie Padilla who posted a Godzilla-themed birthday party of her child.
They questioned why Aljur chose to spend his time with AJ Raval in Canada instead of celebrating the birthday of his son.
“Womanizer father in Canada having fun with the low class uneducated mistress during his sons birthday,” netizen Grace said.
“Happy birthday Alas, ang lungkot nman, birthday mo pero wala ang papa mo my kasamang iba sa Canada nakalive nag kakape sila sa isang tasa,” netizen Jovlnm commented.

However, some fans of Aljur defended him and said that the actor may hold a separate birthday party for his son once he came back to the Philippines.
They believed that despite Aljur’s relationship with AJ, the actor still didn’t forget his responsibility as a father, unlike the other Kapuso talent who admitted that he’s not sending any support to his children with different mothers.
