Actor Dennis Padilla said that he would attend the wedding of Julia Barretto if she decided to tie the knot with her current boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Dennis said that even if he was not invited, he would forcefully attend the event to watch her daughter.
However, Dennis vowed not to cause any scene at the event.
“‘Pag hindi naman nila ako in-invite pupunta ako. Pero hindi ako pupunta du’n para manggulo. Pupunta ako para mapanood ko ang anak ko,” Dennis said.
“Gusto ko makita ikasal ‘yung anak ko, anak ko ‘yun e,” he added.
Dennis also believed that Gerald should ask for his permission first if ever that he was planning to marry his daughter.
He also expressed disappointment to Gerald because he never talked to him even if there was a chance for them to meet during the sidelines of some event they attended.
“Kung gusto talaga ni Gerald akong kausapin dapat kinausap na niya ako,” said Dennis.
Dennis believed that Gerald was not talking to him to gain the approval of his former wife Marjorie Barretto.
“Ang suspetsa ko dapat good shot siya kay Marjorie, pero sakin bad shot siya,” he said.
It can be recalled that Dennis and Julia didn’t see each other for several years already because of personal reasons.
Dennis tried to reach his daughter many times but his efforts turned out to be a failure.
The actor was still hopeful that someday, he would reunite with his children.
