Award-winning actress Elizabeth Oropesa denied that she was asking for a government position to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
It can be recalled that an emotional Elizabeth faced her fans on July 25 to express her disappointment at the alleged abandonment made by Marcos to his supporters.
“‘Yung akin lang po, ‘yung pinagre-report-an mo ‘yung mga kasama mo narin naman ngayon, kami kahit kaunting importansya, kahit kaunting pagpapahalaga ba wala,” said Elizabeth.
According to her, she was only expressing her dismay toward the President and not asking for anything.
She also reminded the netizens that she was a loyalist of the Marcos family and even openly supported former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. even after the EDSA revolution.
“37yrs po ako lumaban. Never nagisip na may kapalit. Ang laban po nun harapan,” said Elizabeth.
The actress also reminded the netizens about her decision to defend the Marcos family during that time almost putting her life at risk.
10 taon hindi makauwi.” she said.
Elizabeth revealed that she only wanted to be recognized by PBBM and nothing else.
Masama ba Yun?” she remarked.
As of writing, the Palace has yet to give comment on Elizabeth’s statement.
