Ice Seguerra admits refusing several guesting offers from It’s Showtime: “Hindi ko tatablahin ang TVJ”

Ice Seguerra admits that he received several guesting offers from the competitors of Eat Bulaga but decided to refuse them because of his loyalty to Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.

Ice, who’s formerly Aiza Seguerra, rose to stardom after winning Little Miss Philippines in 1987 and became one of their hosts until 1997.

In an interview with Aster Amoyo, Ice mentioned the guesting offer he received from It’s Showtime but decided to refuse it because he did not want to appear in any show competing with Eat Bulaga.

He even allowed it to be put in his contract.

“Like what I said, hindi ko tatablahin ang TVJ. Kahit ano pang show. I mean I have friends with It’s Showtime. But when they would ask me can you guest here, I would alwasy say, pasensya na po. I don’t guest in any show na katapat ng Eat Bulaga,” Ice said.

“And it’s even in my contract. Nakalagay dun, any show na katapat ng Eat Bulaga, hindi ko sasamahan.” he added.

Ice also said that he considered the ‘Dabarkads’ like his own family.

“I really treated them as family. Like you know I have weekends sa bahay ni Tito Vic with his kids. Sina Oyo, si Ate Danica… It’s because of my personal relationship with them.” he said.

It’s not yet known if Ice was planning to join the TVJ in their new show on TV5.
