Paolo Contis couldn’t hide his happiness after considering their first day at hosting Eat Bulaga a success.
In a report by GMA, Paolo shared his experience as an Eat Bulaga Dabarkads and even expressed pride to his co-hosts including Betong Sumaya and Buboy Villar.
“Ako, proud ako. Proud ako sa nagawa natin. Masaya ako na nagawa natin ang isang malinis na show para sa mga Dabarkads natin regardless of whatever. God bless sa atin.” said Paolo.

It can be recalled that the actor was one of the most criticized new hosts of the show because of the controversies surrounding him.
Even netizens questioned the decision of TAPE Inc. to hire Paolo, saying that his image would affect the show.
However, Paolo clarified that he’s not the one who decided to host the show and he was only encouraged to accept the offer because it’s about helping people.
“I hope you give us a chance. Kasi at the end of the day, pinatawag kami para tumulong sa tao, para makapagpasaya ng tao. How you can say no to that?” he said.
