Actress LJ Reyes received thousands of congratulatory messages from netizens after she revealed her engagement with a non-showbiz partner Philip Evangelista.
On May 30, LJ who’s currently living in the US together with her child Paolo Contis shared some photos of the special event.
The post reached 300,000 reactions and thousands of shares from netizens.
Meanwhile, some netizens remembered the separation between LJ and Paolo that was rumored to be caused by the relationship of the actor with Yen Santos.
“Congratulations! Deserve po. When kaya si Paolo at Yen? Maghihiwalay?” netizen Danico Ramos said.
Some even mentioned Paolo’s former partner Lian Paz who’s the mother of his two children Xalene and Xonia.
Lian was currently being taken care of by her current partner John Cabahug.
According to a netizen, another man took responsibility as a father.

Paolo already admitted that he’s not sending financial support to his children, but clarified that he was saving for their future.
