Rosanna Roces shared her admiration for her friend megastar Sharon Cuneta who still befriended her despite their status difference.
In an interview with Morly Alinio, Rosanna narrated her friendship with the megastar who’s known for being a wealthy celebrity but didn’t forget to become humble and socialize with other people who are not as rich as her.
Rosanna met Sharon during the production of FPJ Ang Probinsiyano and she thought that the megastar would not talk to normal people because she’s rich.
However, she realized that Sharon was so humble that she was ready to approach people that she like to make friends with.
“Kaya nga dun ako nagtataka sa tao na ‘yun. Kung inaakala niyo na ganon siya kayaman, ganon siya kataas, hindi. Siya ang bababa sa lugar mo para entertainin ka, para kaibiganin ka.” said Osang.
“Saka ‘yung tao na yun pag ayaw niya sa’yo, ayaw niya sa’yo. Pero ‘pag nagustuhan ka niya ay naku, sobra naman talaga.” she added.
In an interview, Sharon said that she really wanted to be friends with Rosanna because of her honesty.
“I really love this woman. So real, so honest. Napakarami nang napagdaanan at ang napakaganda ay napakarami niyang natutunan. Pinagtagpo kami ng Panginoon sa tamang panahon,” the megastar said.
“Wala akong kaduda-duda kay Osang… I know I can trust her and pour my heart out to her anytime, without having to worry that she would betray me. I am blessed to be called her friend,” she added.
