Vic Sotto, sinabi na hindi lamang 60 million pesos ang utang sa kanila ni Joey de Leon ng TAPE

Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Vic Sotto revealed that the unpaid talent fee of Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) from him and Joey de Leon is not just P60-M.

In a press conference, Vic said that his brother and Eat Bulaga co-host Tito Sotto stated that TAPE Inc. has yet to pay P60-M to them was wrong info.

According to Vic, because they were not being paid properly for too long already, he believed that the debt that must be paid by the Jalosjos family to them was more than P60-M.

“Hindi, sa tagal naman eh, sa tagal nu’ng, sa haba ng delay kaya umabot nang ganu’n,” Vic said.

However, TVJ refused to leave Eat Bulaga because of their love for the show and they wanted it to remain the longest-running noontime show in the country.

He said that he’s not already thinking of the talent fee and their only goal was to make Eat Bulaga reach its 50th anniversary in 2029.

“Pero sa’min ni Joey, wala ‘yun. Wala ‘yun. Ganu’n namin kamahal ang ‘Eat Bulaga. Magkita tayo sa 50th golden anniversary ng ‘Eat Bulaga.’ Sama kayo, s’yempre!” he stated.

It can be recalled that Tape Inc. already insisted that the hosts of Eat Bulaga were properly paid.

But Tito said that most of the information stated by TAPE during an interview with Boy Abunda were false.
