Actress Claudine Barretto admitted that she’s not planning to be married anymore after her failed marriage with Raymart Santiago.
In an interview, ‘King of Talk’ Boy Abunda asked Claudine about the possibilities of finding a man she would love and marry again.
However, Claudine didn’t hesitate to answer ‘no’ saying that she already gave her vow to Raymart.
Aside from that, she also wanted to just focus on taking care of her four children.
I think I already gave my promise to my ex-husband. That’s enough. “I have four! I have two sets — the big ones, the teenagers, and the little ones. I have a 7 and and 4-year-old and an 18, and a 15-year-old,” she said.
“That alone takes so much of my time, my energy, my strength,” she added.
It can be recalled that Claudine already revealed in an old interview that she married Raymart by mistake, saying that she fell in love with the actor when her ex-boyfriend Rico Yan passed away.
However, she wanted to maintain her good relationship with Raymart for the sake of their children.
“Nakita ko kasi na pag hiwalay na kayo, parang magkagalit na kayo. Hindi naman pwede, hindi pwede na ganun. You will always have a relationship because of the kids. Naguguluhan na din sila kasi sa away away. We failed as husband and wife, so let’s not fail as parents pa,” she said.
“We have to make decisions with the children as a family pa rin. Hiwalay kayo pero you have to be together for the kids when it comes to decision making, anything about the children, even the schedule,” she added.
