Sen. Cynthia Villar spotted confronting informal settlers: “Hindi kayo pwedeng dumaan dito!”

Senator Cynthia Villar received criticisms on social media after a video of her shouting at a security guard went viral online.

It can be remembered that on April 19, a concerned netizen posted a video where the senator can be seen and heard asking a security guard to clear the metal barriers on the road.

“Umalis ka dyan! Tanggalin mo!” Villar said.

“Ako nagtanggal ng lahat ng squatter dito. Hindi ko nga ito napakinabangan eh, ngayon ikaw na ang nakikinabang,” she added.

Another video was circulating on social media, and now Villar can be seen lecturing some informal settlers living in the Zapote River Drive area.

In the said video, Villar can be seen asking the informal settlers not to use the gate they built because it was leading to private property.

The senator argued that she had already built a public road for them so they should stop entering the private road.

“Owned by the government dito. Hindi kayo pwedeng dumaan dito. Talagang ganyan. pag kayo ay lumugar sa lupang walang right-of-way, problema mo ‘yan!” the senator said.

“Wala kayong karapatan dito, easement ito ng ilog! Isara mo ‘yan. Ako, pinabayaan ko kayong dumaan dito, anong ginawa niyo? Dinadaan niyo rito yung motor niyo, kaya nagkagulo-gulo kami rito. Matigas ang ulo niyo e!” she added.

Villar can also be seen talking someone over the phone and telling about her situation with the informal settlers.
