Juliana Pariscova Segovia has been named by Mana Awards 2023 as their Outstanding Comedian of the Year.
Viva Artist Agency congratulated Segovia for winning the said award.
Segovia became popular after becoming the first grand champion of Its Showtime Ms. Q and A 2018.
While the comedian’s fans were celebrating the award received by their idol, some netizens questioned the decision by Mana.
Some of them argued that Segovia has only a few projects and is not as popular as other comedians like Vice Ganda.
“Tarayyy may enough basis pala para masabing “outstanding” comedian siya kahit wala naman siyang projects2 HAHAHAHHAHAH hiyang hiya naman yung mga ibang obviously deserving,” netizen Nico said.

“I haven’t heard “HIM” tell jokes that I extremely laugh about or a punchline that is truly remarkable. He’s not a comedian, he’s a clown rather. I will believe if it was Vice Ganda or Beks Battalion who was given an award. LOL!” netizen Jun stated.

Meanwhile, Segovia reacted to the award he received.
“Ayyy dai…tabeeeeeeee…Salamat po ng marami,” he said.
As of writing, Mana Awards has yet to give a statement about their basis to name Segovia as an outstanding comedian.
