Veronica “Kitty” Duterte made a birthday message for her father former President Rodrigo Duterte on his 78th birthday.
In her post, Kitty said that it would be an understatement if she would call her father who’s known for being a tough president ‘strong’.
“Strong is an understatement. love is your language. happy birthday to our dada. such a rare mind and a fiery soul. we are proud to be your girls, always.” she said.

It can be recalled that Kitty didn’t enter politics, unlike her siblings, and chose to be a product endorser.
She recently went viral because of her transformation that gained thousands of different reactions from netizens.
The former President was also strict with his youngest daughter when it comes to love life.
In 2019, Duterte shared that he warned the boyfriend by Kitty.
“Ang Veronica ko, nagdala ng lalaki, gusto daw ako makilala. Sabi ko, walang problema. Sabi ko, ‘Ano ka ba?’ High school pa, parang mag-graduate na, going to college. Tapos, nung usap, sabi ko, ‘Yang anak ko, kaisa-isa ‘yan sa aking asawa na si Honeylet,” Duterte said.
“Sabi ko, ‘No physical. Basta huwag mong hawakan maski kamay, okay? She’s only fourteen. How old are you?’ Sabi niya, ‘Seventeen. Sabi ko, ‘Huwag mong hawakan ang kamay. Huwag mong halikan ‘yan, hindi pa puwede at hindi sawsawan ‘yan. Huwag na huwag mong gawin.” he added.
