Baguio nurse receiving criticisms after her comment against former first lady Imelda Marcos

A Baguio-based nurse has been receiving criticism on social media, especially from the supporters of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. because of her comment against former First Lady Imelda Marcos.

It can be recalled the speculations about the health of the former first lady circulated on social media and some netizens assumed that Mrs. Marcos has been hospitalized.

A tweet from @NovaVFaith, received attention from the netizens for urging the nurses taking care of Marcos to do someone unethical.

“Kung sino mang nurse ni Imelda, pls do it for all of us. Off mo lang naman ung O2. or ifastdrip mo nicard. or injectan mo insulin. emz,” she said.

Director Darryl Yap called out the said nurse and even identified her as currently working at Baguio General Hospital.

Some including Atty. Darwin Canete that the comment made by the nurse might put her license in jeopardy.

“Has the UP Manila College of Nursing failed to inculcate to their graduates the most basic tenet of being a nurse? aanhin namin yung galing niyo kung namimili ang isang graduate daw ninyo kung sino gagamutin dahil sa pulitika or worse, mang-engganyo sa ibang nurse na gawan ng masama ang isang buhay na pinagkatiwala sa kanila? and much much worst…. nag post pa sa Twitter KUNG PAPAANO GAGAWIN.” Canete said.

Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center Randy Occidental already made a statement, urging the netizens to stop judging the nurse.

“Let’s not immediately judge Faith and let the rightful authorities handle the issue. Thank you for your kindness,” Occidental said.
