House Deputy Speaker Arnie Teves published a 14-minute video to address the accusations being thrown against him after what happened to Gov. Roel Degamo.

In his video, Teves denied that he was already hiding because of guilt, but admitted that he was afraid for his safety if he decided to go back home.

He even questioned why the House of Representatives ethics committee was already conducting a probe against him.

Teves also made a statement, saying that they should stop accusing him.

According to him, someone was trying to make a ‘script’ to pin him to what happened to Degamo.

Teves already asked Congress to give him another 2-month leave from House because of security concerns.

The ethics committee would decide if they’re going to grant the request of the controversial lawmaker.
