Influencer orders steak for P400 without knowing that the price is ‘per gram’: “Gulat ako pag bill out ko 6k!”

An influencer received thousands of laugh reactions from netizens after she shared her mistake while ordering at a high-end restaurant.

In her post, Davao-based content creator Karel Kat Lopez shared on her social media page that she ordered a steak with a price of P400 according to the menu.

The steak quickly arrived, and it was cooked perfectly.

However, she couldn’t believe her eyes when the bill arrived and discovered that the amount she needed to pay had already reached 6,000 pesos.

The staff told her that the P400 she saw on the menu was the steak per gram’s price as the meats’ weights were different.

“Nakita ko may steak sila 400. Sabi ko ito para ma try ko sabi ko pa sa waiter yung pinaka malaki kasi 1st time ko. Gulat ako pag bill out ko 6k.” Lopez said.

“Kala ko 400 isa, per grams pala. Wag niyo ko kakausapin!” she added.

The post of Lopez already reached 8,200 shares as of writing.

However, several netizens questioned the authenticity of Lopez’s story.

Some netizens also questioned how the steak has been cooked.

It can be recalled that most Filipinos didn’t eat their steak rare and most of them thought that cooking it ‘well done’ is the perfect way to cook it.
