Salvador Panelo to Angel Locsin: “Bakit mo nilalabanan ang gobyerno?

Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo talked about Kapamilya defender Angel Locsin in his program “Counterpoint” last Friday.

During his program, Panelo reminded Locsin to avoid contradicting her statement, saying that the actress already told her followers that the real enemy amid the crisis happening in the country is the virus.

However, Panelo asked why the actress became critical of the government if she believed that the enemy is the virus and not the people.

The former spokesperson of President Duterte then urged Locsin to use her fame to ask the people to cooperate with the government.

Ang dapat labanan natin ‘yung virus,” Panelo said.

Locsin is one of the celebrities who reacted to President Duterte when the chief executive scolded the health workers for calling for a revolution.

“Eh kung mag-revolution kayo, you will give me the free ticket to stage a counterrevolution. How I wish you would do it,” the President said.

As response, Locsin made a series of Instagram stories to defend the health workers.

Locsin also became vocal on defending ABS-CBN and even urged the other celebrities to speak against the controversial decision of the Congress.

“Magkaisa tayo at wag magpagamit,” Locsin said.

However, some accused Locsin of being active on defending ABS-CBN because she’s one of the stockholder of the broadcasting network.

Locsin already denied that she’s defending her former network because of money.
