Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV slammed actor Robin Padilla for his post urging the people to help the country instead of complaining.

In a tweet, Trillanes accused Padilla of urging the people to work and stop complaining about the current state of the country.

Trillanes believed that President Rodrigo Duterte was clueless about handling the crisis in the country that’s why he questioned Padilla why he wanted the people to stop criticizing the government.

The fierce critic of the current administration also blamed Padilla for supporting President Duterte whom he called ‘crazy’.

Mlaking perwisyo ang dinulot nyo sa Pilipinas,” he said.

Trillanes was probably reacting to the post of Padilla four days ago, urging the people to apply as a reservist of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) instead of complaining.

Join the Reservist “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country,” Padilla said.

This is not the first time that Padilla and Trillanes criticized each other on social media.

In 2018, Padilla waited outside the senate to convince Trillanes to surrender himself to the authorities after President Duterte declared the amnesty given to the latter as void.

Padilla said in his live video.
