Megastar Sharon Cuneta responded to the netizens who compared the appearance of her daughters KC Concepcion and Frankie Pangilinan.
In her Instagram, Cuneta expressed sadness over the people who said that KC is more beautiful than Frankie.
Cuneta said that people should understand that KC is more beautiful than Frankie because the latter’s father is a matinee idol.
“Obvious ba, eh matinee idol ang tatay niya… ganoon kasama ang tao,” said Cuneta.
“I’m so sorry honey, you don’t deserve that, in the end that’s not what matters you know, physical beauty fades,” the megastar told her daughter Frankie who’s in the same room with her during her Livestream.
The megastar became more emotional after she told Frankie that people should not compare her two daughters.
“Please don’t do that to my children, ako nalang pintasan ninyo, natural hindi naman gwapo si Kiko as gwapo as Gabby, but when I married Kiko it didn’t matter kasi lahat ng gwapo nakain-love-an ko sinaktan lang ako,” she said.
“Hindi naman pangit ‘yung asawa ko sa personal, hindi lang pang matinee idol ang itsura,” she added.
She then assured Frankie that she’s also beautiful.
This is not the first time that Cuneta criticized her bashers online.
In her previous Instagram post, Cuneta said that her family was struggling right now because of the criticisms they received.
She also lamented how the netizens threw bad comments against her children because of the political opinions of her husband Sen. Pangilinan.
“Napakasakit ng pinagdaraanan namin ngayon. Kaya nga ako nag-asawa kasi matinong tao si Kiko, at gusto ko tumahimik na ng paunti-unti ang buhay ko. Lalo lang palang gugulo,” Cuneta said.
“Mas naaappreciate ko ang Showbiz ngayon…pagmamahal at intriga lang ang haharapin mo; madaling ayusin ang intriga, libre at napakasarap ng minamahal ka ng walang panig panig tulad ng politika,” she added.
Cuneta even vowed to file a lawsuit against a critic of Frankie even if she loses all the money she had.
A few days ago, a lawyer then challenged Cuneta to file charges against him for calling Sen. Pangilinan a “lousy lawyer” and said that he would slap Frankie for her comments against former Chief Justice Renato Corona.
