Saludo kami sa’yo! Cop touches the heart of netizens for buying all the bananas of an old street vendor

A cop caught the attention of millions of social media users because of his habit of helping people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Police Lieutenant Jojo Paguia has gone viral on the internet after a photo of him helping an old banana vendor was reuploaded by several pages on social media.

Paguia narrated how he met the old banana vendor from Calamba, Laguna, walking under the scorching heat of the sun to make a living.

According to him, he couldn’t bear to ignore the vendor and decided to buy all the bananas being carried by the latter.

The police officer gave the old vendor 500 pesos and some relief goods in exchange of all the bananas.

On one Facebook page, Paguia received 220,000 likes and 125,000 shares on social media.

Exemplified gestures of loving your neighbors..may you have a hundredfold return of blessings on your good deeds sir..GOD has seen your kind heart..much has been given and you have much to be required and you will acquire,” Ptr Jaime Delos Sans Jr. remarked.

This is not the first time that Paguia helped people that he met during the pandemic and posting daily about his good deeds.

Just recently, Paguia helped a homeless family and gave them relief goods.

The good samaritan also narrated in one of his social media posts that he also experienced to sell things during his youth to make a living and finish studies.
