Coco Martin slams people behind ABS-CBN closure: “Tinatarantado ninyo ang mga Pilipino!”

One of the biggest stars of ABS-CBN reacted to the closure of his home network due to the order of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).

‘Ang Probinsiyano’ leading star Coco Martin couldn’t hide his anger towards the people behind the closure of the Kapamilya network and posted a lengthy message against them on his social media account.

According to his Instagram post, Martin said that he should already speak against the people who wanted to close down ABS-CBN, saying that he’s not even sure if he’s going to survive the pandemic.

He’s hoping that the people behind the closure of ABS-CBN are now happy and celebrating.

Martin then called them out for having lack of conscience for still pushing to shut down ABS-CBN that could resulted to the lost of 11,000 jobs.

Martin said that he’s already done of being diplomatic and now he’s going to speak the language that the ABS-CBN critic would understand.

He believed that the actions against ABS-CBN is unfair and should be corrected.

Before he ended his post, Martin mentioned Solicitor General Jose Calida and the members of the NTC thanking them for fooling the Filipino people.

TINATARANTADO NINYO ANG MGA PILIPINO!!!” he said.

Several members of the House of the Representatives slammed Calida for trying to pressure NTC not to let ABS-CBN continue its operations.

The franchise issue of ABS-CBN started when President Rodrigo Duterte to criticize the said television network and even vowed not to let them renew their franchise.

Two months ago, President Duterte accepted the apology from ABS-CBN management, however, he said that the future of the network is still up for the Congress to decide.

“I tell you, I am not going to interfere, wala talaga,” Duterte said.
