Close kay Kapitan? Netizens want to investigate woman who claims to receive financial aid from her Barangay

Netizen wants the authorities to investigate a woman who boasted her social amelioration card (SAC) on social media and also the money she received from the financial aid despite not being looked like she belongs to the ‘poorest of the poor’ families.

Yesterday, netizen Edge Mora shared the Facebook posts of the said beneficiary who thanked their barangay captain for her SAC.

According to the SAC posted by the beneficiary, she’s living in Barangay Molino 3 in Bacoor City.

Hahahaha labyu kap! Salamat sa pirma. Thank you DSWD #Legit” the beneficiary said.

She then proceeded to share the money worth P6,500 she allegedly received from the financial aid.

Netizens started to raise their eyebrows when the beneficiary posted a photo taken in front of a milk tea shop and claimed that she used the money she received from the social amelioration package to buy the said drink.

Before she deactivated her account, the beneficiary explained her side and denied that she’s not rich like the accusations of some netizens.

According to her, it’s not her fault if the barangay captain approved her social amelioration card.

She also claimed that she’s part of the priority sector.

Wag b*b* wag puro daldal!

The photo shared by Edge Mora already reached 2,200 shares as of writing.

Netizens then criticized the beneficiary for boasting the financial aid she got. Some of them even called the attention of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and Bacoor City Government to investigate the woman.

“Lupet no?

Taga Tondo, mkha nman syang may kaya. Puro nga pagkain ang timeline nya. Pano nabigyan yan? Ahh baka bff ni kap,” netizen Michelle Carasi remarked.

We are trying to get the comment of DSWD about the matter.
