Duterte urges people to follow experts amid COVID-19: “Sila po ang marunong niyan.

President Rodrigo Duterte urged the public to follow the advice of the medical expert amid the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

During a conference Thursday, Duterte said that people should believe the experts amid the challenges being faced by the Philippines on how they’re going to slow down the virus from spreading because they’re more knowledgable on how to handle it.

Duterte then mentioned Health Secretary Francisco Duque III telling that he’s in charge of handling the COVID-19.

He said that the Filipinos should cooperate with the government or else they’re going to contribute to the problem.

“Kung ayaw niyo mag, the problem will start with you and end with you,” Duterte said.

The President also said that he’s going to close down Metro Manila from Land, air, sea travel TO, FROM Metro Manila.
