Security guard who pretended to be a cop made a teary-eyed apology: “Kawawa po yung mga anak ko, walang makakain”

The security guard who pretended to be a police in a viral video appeared in public for the first time after becoming infamous on the internet after a netizen recorded his action against a street vendor.

GMA News featured Rex Baltisoto to get his side over the viral video that might put him in trouble and face charges like usurpation of authority.

In the said show, Baltisoto admitted that he was having problems with his family and under the influence of alcohol when he confronted the said street vendor.

Baltisoto said that he complained about the street food being sold by the vendors.

He also explained that he only pretended to be a cop to defend himself after he saw one of the vendors tried to pull a knife.

The guard then issued an apology for his behavior towards the vendor and pleaded not to pursue the complaint against him because he’s going to lose his job that feeding his family.

“Kung ano pong hatol nila sa akin ay tatangapin ko, mapatawad lang nila ako pero hangga’t maari po ay maayos ko na po lahat ito kasi kawawa po yung mga anak ko walang makakain araw araw,” the teary-eyed Baltisoto said.

“Sa mga vendor po, pagpasensyahan niyo na po ako, tao lang po nagkamali sana po ay mapatawad ninyo ako, hinding hindi na ito mangyayari sa buhay ko kahit kailan,” he added.

Meanwhile, journalist Raffy Tulfo is already taking action to punish Baltisoto.

The agency of Baltisoto said that they’re willing to turn over the security guard to the Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA).

Tulfo was also informed that Baltisoto is going to face the street vendor he confronted in Barangay Hall.

According to Brgy. 84, Zone Chairwoman Lamberta Binuya, the street vendor and Baltisoto already met yesterday, however, the latter didn’t accept the apology of the security guard.

Binuya even revealed that Baltisoto kneeled in front of the street vendor just to forgive him.

The team of Raffy Tulfo is also planning to witness the upcoming face-to-face between Baltisoto and the street vendor.

A few days ago, Baltisoto has gone viral on social media after he introduced himself as a cop to a street vendor.

Fortunately, the incident was captured by a concerned citizen and posted it on social media.
