Lt. Col. Espenido to lawbreakers in Bacolod: “Kung gusto mo madaliin ang buhay mo, sana magkita tayo”

The new director for operations of Bacolod City Police (BCPO) Lieutenant Colonel Jovie Espenido warned the lawbreakers to stop what they’re doing in their province or else they might face the ultimate consequences.

In an interview with the reporters, Espenido said that they should reconsider their life and family and stop doing illegal activities.

According to him, they should change their habit and focus on taking care of their family.

“Sa mga gumagawa pa rin ng kalokohan, sana mag-i-stop na. Life is beautiful, you should reconsider that your life is not yours, and also to maintain a good relationship with your family. Pero kung gusto mo talagang magmadali, sana tayo magkita para may resulta,” the controversial cop said.

Espenido said that he doesn’t like to target the small-time lawbreakers because they see them as victims also.

“Sayang ang kinabukasan ninyo. Dapat sana kayo mag-surrender. Tugisin nating yung nag-utos. Yung nag-finance, yun talaga ang pinaka the best.”

The famous cop hopes that he will meet the expectations of the people of Bacolod.

He also asked for prayers so his mission will succeed in the said province.

“I can’t accomplish my target, my mission if I don’t depend on God’s help. Also, include our President (Rodrigo Duterte) in your prayers, for strength to manage the problematic institutions in our government,” he said.

Espenido became controversial after he leads a police operation which ended the political domination of the Parojinog clan in Ozamiz City.

Meanwhile, President Rodrigo Duterte gave his blessing to Espenido to do anything he wanted just to complete his mission in Bacolod.
