KAPA founder rides helicopter to join GenSan Rally, claims that Duterte supports him

KAPA Community Ministry International Pastor Joel Apolinario debunked the claims that he already escaped the country by attending the prayer rally of his so-called religious group in General Santos City on Thursday.

Apolinario used a chopper to travel at the Acharon Sports Complex in Brgy. Calumpang and stayed there for 10-15 minutes to talk to the 100,000 attendees of the rally.

During his speech, Apolinario claimed that President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte already gave their blessings to him to support KAPA.

“Sa ating presidente na tumulong upang magpatuloy ang Kapa. Nakita niya ang paghihirap ng mga tao, kaya naawa ito.” Apolinario said.

“Pasasalamatan ko ang pagmamahal niya sa inyo dahil ayaw niya na maghirap tayong lahat at bumalik sa kahirapan. Kung ano ang ating tinamasa sa loob ng tatlong taon, gusto niya itong ipagpatuloy.” he added.

He also made his followers wait for the President as he claimed that Duterte is coming to the prayer rally.

KAPA followers who believed that the President is coming waited for hours despite bad weather.

However, the President didn’t come and the emcee of the prayer rally made an alibi that the Chief Executive postponed his plan because of the bad weather.

The claims of Apolinario contradicted the statement of President Rodrigo Duterte who’s also in GenSan to give land titles to 13,000 people.

In his speech, President Duterte lambasted Apolinario and accused KAPA of scamming poor people.

He also warned his audience not to invest in KAPA if they don’t want to lose their hard-earned money.

“Those who have already spent a lot of money on Kapa, I’m sorry. The operation will stop or shall stop immediately. Bantay ka sakin Pastor,” Duterte said.

Apolinario is facing multiple charges for allegedly committing large-scale estafa.
