Congressman-elect Paolo Duterte on Bikoy’s change of statements: “Without a doubt, Senator Antonio Trillanes was behind it.”

Congressman-elect Paolo “Pulong” Duterte released a statement after Peter Joemel Advincula also known as “Bikoy” retracted his past statements against the Presidential family, Senator-elect Bong Go and other individuals on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, Duterte said that he already knew that the claims of Bikoy in the video series titled “Ang Totoong Narco-list” were scripted to lower their popularity.

According to him, Bikoy video series is part of the plan of the enemies of the government to remove the trust of the public to the Duterte administration and its close allies.

He also expected that Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, a known critic of the Duterte administration, is allegedly involved in the Bikoy videos.

You can read his whole statement below:

“From the very start, it was clear that the Bikoy videos were fabricated with a narrative taken straight from the playbook of people whose desire is to destroy our name and our reputation.

All the lies presented were also meant to crush the trust of the Filipino people in the authorities and inspire public disgust against the government — truly the handiwork of people who want to undermine the Duterte administration.

Without a doubt, as I have said before, Senator Antonio Trillanes was behind it. And now that many names have also surfaced, to include Sen. Risa Hontiveros and several lawyers, I believe a proper investigation is in order.”

On Thursday, Bikoy surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and appeared in a press conference held at Camp Crame, claiming that he was only asked by Senator Trillanes and other members of the Liberal Party to accuse the first family of being involved in illegal businesses.

Advincula admitted that Bong Go’s tattoo claim was only part of his made-up story, while he said that he’s unsure with the look of Pulong Duterte’s tattoo.
