Blogger to Sen.

A blogger criticized Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan for claiming that the opposition is still going to continue their fight against poverty and unemployment.

In a post, MJ Quiambao Reyes shared a statement from the Liberal Party President, thanking the supporters of Otso Diretso.

Reyes also included a letter addressed to Pangilinan, asking the Senator why he’s failed in solving the poverty and employment despite serving the government for 30 years already.

She pointed out that if Pangilinan and the Liberal Party really wanted to solve the main problems of the country, they had enough time to make an action on it.

Reyes believed that the people already lost their trust to the ‘yellows’ which resulted in the defeat of all Otso Diretso candidates in the last 2019 senatorial elections.

She wrote:

“Dear Mr. Senator:

Halos dalawang dekada naman (opo, halos 20 years!) in a national position bilang senador at myembro ng gabinete.

You and your political party failed and failed miserably for decades.

Do yourself and this country a favor:

IF YOU CAN’T MOVE ON, MOVE OUT.”

Yesterday, Pangilinan resigned as the President of Liberal Party after all Otso Diretso candidate fails to get a seat in the Senate.

However, Vice President Leni Robredo rejected the resignation of Pangilinan.
