Several infrastructure damaged by the Earthquake in Pampanga already repaired within 48 hours

After the magnitude 6.1 earthquake hit several parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, the government already repaired some of the damaged infrastructures, even in Pampanga which considered as the most affected by the destructive natural phenomenon.

In several posts, netizens laud the government for quickly repairing the damages done by the earthquake.

Netizen Ed Alunan showed how fast the government repaired the welcome arch of Pampanga province two days after the earthquake.

“The welcome arch in Pampanga earlier this morning and half a day later. The Duterte administration at work!!!” Alunan said.

In another post, Department of Transportation (DOTr) showcased how fast the government repaired the old terminal of the Clark International Airport which became viral two days ago after its ceiling collapsed after the Earthquake.

According to them, DOTr quickly acted to repair the passenger terminal building and the control tower so it can operate again.

The damage done by the earthquake in the airport is estimated to be 30-M pesos. DOTr also wanted to investigate the contractor of the said terminal and question why the ceiling quickly fell during the earthquake.

President Duterte is also thankful that the earthquake didn’t affect the local economy, he also vowed to help the people who lost their job and also the families who lost their loved ones.
