Duterte on Robredo’s ability: “She is not capabe of running a country like the PH”

It seems that the word war between President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo has started.

On Tuesday, the Vice President and former house czar of the Duterte administration expressed her intentions to unite and lead the opposition coalition to match the PDP’s bet in 2019 elections.

In the same day, President Rodrigo Duterte who said that he’s willing to resign if the Federalism has been passed clarified that he would give the people a chance to choose their leader and he will not pass the presidency to Robredo.

He explained that passing the Presidency to Robredo might give more problem in the Philippines because of his lack of experience in governance.

“Kung siya mag-presidente? (If she will become president?) Look, I will not resign because it will make her president. My resignation is addressed to the people para makapili sila ng gusto nila,” Duterte told reporters in Clark, Pampanga.

“Siya (she), I don’t think she can ever be ready to govern a country. Reason? Incompetence. She’s not capable of running a country like this, Philippines,” said Duterte of Robredo

President Duterte repeatedly said that he could step down in 2018 if the Federal Constitution is already in effect by then.

Robredo became the representative of Camarines Sur for three years and became the chairman of Liberal Party in her hometown, several months after her husband Jesse Robredo’s death.

The lawyer from Camarines Sur won the Vice Presidential seat against former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

But now, there’s an ongoing recount between Robredo and former Senator Bongbong Marcos.

The camp of the Vice President is also facing controversy after their revisor has been caught having a vacation together with at least 20 staff of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal (PET).

As of writing, the leader of the opposition is not yet giving any comment on the criticisms of President Duterte against her.
